Went for a lovely and unseasonably warm hike at Oswegatchie. Why do I forget about this place? It was a nice trail but we ended up taking our time .. and found this fallen tree .. where L got very close to a cute little wren in the tree top. We saw what I think was a rough-legged hawk and at least a dozen pairs of hooded mergansers in the pond. Next time I want to check out the red trail. Also had a lovely time chatting with little Nora and Rebecca! :)
