I feel so lucky to be able to go to this cemetery and see the graves of so many generations. (Perhaps "lucky" is not a good word here.) Rather I feel like it is a gift for me to be able to take my children here and point at their history. Buried at this cemetery are my mother, my grandmother and grandfather, my great-grandmother and great-grandfather, and my great-great grandparents as well. How many people nowadays can go to a cemetery and see that? To bring my kids there ... that makes us (morbidly speaking) six generations in one place.
