Hike at Cockaponset State Forest

Gorgeous old trails (blue blaze) .. with staircases, etc. Little unnerving to hear gunshots in the distance (need orange vests for next hike!) but we had a lovely walk and a nice little picnic at a spot e named "Ship Rock."
